Play x Solace presents BENZA.

BENZA is a Madrid-born, Berlin-based artist known for a raw and futuristic sound. Initially emerging from the Symbole collective, he has developed a vision of techno that prioritizes sound design, storytelling, and physical intensity.

After a period of refining his musical vision, BENZA's first releases gained significant attention in late 2023, marking the beginning of a steady progression.

With releases on respected labels such as Clergy, Vault Records or Smile Sessions, he is establishing a solid presence in the contemporary techno scene through a sound defined by its drive and technical precision.

Kait Xri is a Naarm-based DJ operating in the space between atmosphere and intensity. Her sound moves fluidly through progressive, hypnotic and driving techno, shaped by deep understanding for space, tension and momentum.

A selector known for her sharp mixing and refined, eclectic taste, Kait threads ambient melodics with bold, beat-driven energy to build sets that feel expansive and deliberate.

Ari is a familiar face in the Naarm techno circuit, the founder, chief operator and driving force behind Play. Expect a set loaded with rolling, chugging basslines, freaky percussion, and warped bleeps built to lock you in.

With little introduction required: Bby Cass and TEEJAY are mainstays of the local DJ circuit, purveyors of sound and other fine goods. Together, on a lifelong expedition digging for the next best tune, they've managed to influence each other from opposite ends of the music spectrum. A taste of the deep, a sprinkle of the euphoric, but always eclectic.

Shred is one of the former operators of the prolific retired collective Static. Since 2020, Shred has been an active contributor to the city's scene, facilitating parties with Blawan, Alarico and Freddy K under the Static banner.

Inspired by basslines and percussive textures, Shred leans into atmospheric tracks with deeper undertones, tying elements of dub, bass and DnB with cohesion.

Come early, stay late, Play on.
